With the aid of these sturdy gas springs, the lid effortlessly opens up to a generous angle of 88 degrees, providing you with ample space and freedom to conveniently load and unload bulky or oversized objects.

Safety Features On Winther CX

Winther CX is equipped with Hydraulic Disc Brakes on all three wheels, which is a most powerful and safe brake option. They feature a strong braking force during all weather conditions, also when it’s wet outside. Hydraulic Disc Brakes are superior in modulation - meaning the ability to precisely and accurately control the braking force - so you can stop the bike when and where you want.

The brake system comes with a parking brake which is easily activated by pushing a dial on the left brake lever. This locks the two front wheels, securing the cargo bike, also on uneven terrain.

The stabile 3-wheeled platform, ensures a very easy and secure ride. The geometry is optimized for head tube based steering which give Winther Cargo bikes a very stabile ride. In addition a sturdy Gas-damper on the steering, softens the ride so you can ride your Winther CX safely, even with big loads in the box.

All Winther cargo bikes can be equipped with either a rear hub motor or a mid-drive motor. The rear hub motor provides robust pedaling assistance, making it easier to conquer any terrain. It is powerful, reliable, and durable. On the other hand, the mid-drive motor offers a smoother and more stable ride, improving overall balance and comfort. When selecting the right motor, consider technical specifications and personal preferences, such as power, speed, and torque. Our E-motors assist until 25 km/h for compliance and safety. All Winther cargo bikes come equipped with a removable battery, providing maximum convenience for recharging at any standard power outlet.

The Bafang rear hub motor with 8 external gears gives you powerful pedaling assistance and can feel like you are getting a friendly push from behind. When the sensor-based motor kicks in, you get a consistent and even help from the motor matching your selected assist level.

The e-motor system consists of a Bafang motor connected to a huge high-capacity battery, giving Winther CX an incredibly powerful and lightweight rear hub motor. The motor system is powered by a powerful Bafang Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 750 Wh (equivalent to 17.5 Ah), located on the rear rack, and has an output torque of 45 Nm, giving Winther CX plenty of power, both up the steep hills and in quick accelerations. The Bafang M410 also features a startup assist, which helps the rider maneuver the cargo bike more easily when sitting on the cargo bike. This feature is particularly useful when you need extra push starting up or navigating tight spaces.

The motor is extremely quiet and durable in all weather conditions.

Additionally, with the Alfine 8-speed internal gear system, riders can easily switch between gears to find the right level of resistance for their riding needs.
